Grant Assistance Program
West Michigan Minorities In Architecture / Engineering Consortium (WMMIAEC) is pleased to offer several financial assistance grants each academic year. Under this program, qualified ethnic minorities and women who are pursuing careers in the architectural, engineering and scientific disciplines may be eligible to receive a $2,000 grant, payable to the educational institution in which they are enrolled.
The educational grant may be renewed for qualified recipients on an annual basis for a maximum of four years. Applications for the Grants are reviewed on a quarterly basis; however, we are always collecting applications for the next academic year.
Application Requirements
To be considered for the grant, you will need to submit the following:
Completed WMMIAEC application form*
A professional resume
A cover letter briefly describing your educational and career goals, explaining your need for financial assistance, and your intent to reside and work in the West Michigan area upon completion of your education.
A copy of current educational transcript (if you are newly enrolled student, please provide proof of enrollment or acceptance at your educational institution)
*You may complete the application online through the link above or download the PDF version and email all of your documents to wmmiaec@outlook.com. Please note: You must be logged in to a google account to apply online and you will be required to upload your resume and educational transcript to submit the form.

Applications must be submitted to WMMIAEC by August 31st.
Final selections for Grant Awards will be determined in September each year.
