Providing financial resources and support for minorities seeking an education in consulting engineering, scientific, or architectural professions.

West Michigan Minorities In Architecture / Engineering Consortium (WMMIAEC) is pleased to offer several financial assistance grants, in the amount of $1,000, each academic year. Under this program, qualified ethnic minorities and women who are pursuing careers in the architectural, engineering and scientific disciplines may be eligible to receive a $1,000 grant, payable to the educational institution in which they are enrolled. The educational grant may be renewed for qualified recipients on an annual basis; however, grant eligibility will not exceed a total of four years per recipient. Applications for the Grants are reviewed on a quarterly basis; however, we are always collecting applications for the next academic year.

Please complete the Grant Application and submit all of the additional information requested on the application form. Completed Application information must be received by WMMIAEC no later than August 1st, in order to be eligible for fall semester Grant selection. As part of the Grant selection process, you may be required to interview with WMMIAEC representatives in order to present a more complete understanding of your educational and career goals. Final selections for Grant Awards will be determined in September each year.

We look forward to receiving your completed Grant Application. If you have any questions, please contact us.  You can also find us on Facebook.
